Brenda Davis for Sherburne County Auditor: Committed to Local Government Accountability and Fiscal Responsibility

Raised in St. Michael, she grew up helping at her family’s bowling alley, Crow River Lanes. That early experience gave her a firsthand understanding of how a business operates, how finances are managed, and the importance of hard work and dedication – shaping the strong work ethic she carries today. 

At the age of three, her mom enrolled her in dance lessons, where she quickly fell in love with all aspects of the sport.  She trained in a wide range of styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, and many more. As part of a nationally recognized studio, she traveled annually to compete at national competitions against top dancers from across the country. By sixth grade, she began assistant teaching and later advanced to a lead instructor role, which she held for four years after graduating high school. One of the highlights of her dance career was being invited to perform at the 2000 Sydney Olympics—an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

Davis and her husband have lived in Orrock Township for the past fourteen years, where they are raising their two sons, Eddie and Henry. They are active members of Saron Lutheran Church, where she teaches Sunday School to preschoolers. In her free time, Davis enjoys spending time at the lake, hosting campfires, playing cards, enjoying the outdoors, and making memories with her family. She is passionate about instilling a love of sports in her children, supporting them in basketball, soccer, baseball, and various camps. She has also assisted in coaching her son Eddie’s baseball team for the past two years.

Through her diverse experiences, Davis has developed valuable life skills, leadership abilities, and practical knowledge. She is committed to using these strengths to serve effectively and lead with integrity as Sherburne County Auditor.
